The overall coronavirus tally in India crossed 90-lakh mark on Friday morning after the country recorded 45,882 new cases in 24 hours.

As of Friday morning, active cases in India stand at 4,43,794, the Union Health Ministry figures show. Over 84.28 lakh Indian have recovered from Covid-19 so far since the outbreak.

While Maharashtra remains the top affected state in the country with 17,63,055 total cases, total fatalities in Delhi crossed 8,000-mark with total active cases at 43,221.
