In 20 years of his career, Hrithik Roshan has managed to wow the audiences with diverse roles and standout performances. But one character that’s very special to Hrithik and definitely etched in the minds of the audiences is Ethan Mascarenhas from Guzaarish. The film clocked 10 years of its release on November 19. To mark the milestone, Hrithik shared a beautiful video resounding a poignant dialogue from the film.

HOW DID HRITHIK ROSHAN CELEBRATE 10 YEARS OF GUZAARISH?

Taking to his Instagram handle, Hrithik Roshan shared a memorable dialogue about living life to the fullest from Guzaarish. Hrithik played a quadriplegic man named Ethan in the film. In the video he posted, we hear Ethan saying, “Life is very short but if you live from the heart it’s a lot. Go on, break the rules, forgive quickly, love truly and never regret anything that made you smile.”

Remembering Ethan, which was one of the most challenging roles for the actor, he captioned the post with his heart-warming dialogue, “Empty what’s full. Fill what’s empty. Breathe. Do it well. -Ethan (sic).”

WHAT DID MOUNI ROY COMMENT?

Mouni Roy took to the comments section of Hrithik’s post to praise him for giving a brilliant performance in the film. She wrote, “You were brilliant.” Hairstylist Aalim Hakim reacted with many heart emojis. Hrithik’s fans also appreciated the actor.

ABOUT GUZAARISH

Guzaarish was a romantic drama directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Besides Hrithik Roshan, the 2010 film starred Aishwarya Rai, Shernaz Patel and Aditya Roy Kapoor. The film is remembered for igniting a discussion on euthanasia, when the practise was not even known to most people. To do justice to his role as a quadriplegic in Guzaarish, Hrithik gained a lot of weight. Even though the film wasn’t a box-office success, critics applauded Hrithik’s performance.

On the work front, Hrithik Roshan was last seen in Siddharth Anand’s War. The action thriller also featured Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor in pivotal roles.
