CBI searches homes of former TDP MLA in connection with illegal limestone mining case

CBI on Thursday conducted searches at 25 places in connection with an illegal limestone mining case. Among these premises were properties owned by former TDP MLA from Gurazala constituency in Andhra Pradesh, Yarapathaneni Srinivas Rao.

Rao’s homes in Guntur and Hyderabad were searched by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the case. Officers recovered several incriminating documents, mobile phones, material objects and cash during these searches.
