Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog to praise Netflix’s The Crown 4. The actor revealed that he learnt pronunciation of many English words from the series.

Amitabh Bachchan has joined the list of people who have become fans of Netflix’s The Crown, which is based on the British Royal Family. Big B took to his blog to praise the British web series, which has recently come up with its 4th season. The actor also revealed that he is learning English pronunciation from the show.

WHAT DID AMITABH BACHCHAN WRITE ABOUT THE CROWN?

In his blog post on Thursday night, Amitabh Bachchan praised The Crown. He wrote, “AND the CROWN in all its glory continues.. what performances.. what writing.. and what a learning on the English language pronunciations.. custom, tradition ceremony, history, opinions, monarchy all rolled into one absolutely ‘cannot stop watching’ experience.. (sic).”

The fourth season of The Crown primarily focuses on Princess Diana and her relationship with the royal family.

WHAT DID BIG B TWEET ABOUT THE CROWN EARLIER?

On November 18, Amitabh Bachchan tweeted a dialogue from The Crown, which stated that one can’t be everything to everyone and remain true to themselves. His tweet read, “You can’t be everything to everyone and still be true to ourselves — a dialogue from the series, where PM Harold Wilson speaking to the Queen says this to her (sic).”

WHAT IS THE CROWN 4?

The Crown 4 started streaming on Netflix on November 15. While the fourth season sees Season 3’s Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II, Emma Corrin is seen as Princess Diana. Josh O’Connor plays the role of Prince Charles and Sex Education’s Gillian Anderson is seen playing the role of Margaret Thatcher. Apart from concentrating on Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s tumultuous marriage, the new season throws light on the changing political landscape of Britain with Margaret Thatcher becoming the first woman Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. It also shows the rivalry between the two strongest women of the UK – Queen Elizabeth II and Margeret Thatcher.
